Confused about where to go for counseling?

The Continuing Student Counseling Department (CSCD) addresses the needs of students who have completed one year of college or more than 24 units at City College or another college or university. Students work with CSCD counselors to discuss their academic goals and revise or develop educational plans. They also discuss the requirements needed for a certificate, a degree, or transfer to a 4-year institution. CSCD counselors make referrals to support services on and off campus, provide specialized workshops including probation, transfer planning, and Internet resources and offer brief personal counseling.

Computers are available for student use in Cloud 207, Art 201 and SH 106.

CSCD offers drop-in counseling for short questions. If you would like to create an educational plan for taking the correct courses to achieve your educational/career goal, if you are a student on probationary status or if you have other questions, you may make an appointment to see a CSCD counselor by calling 452-5235.
