BRIGHTENING UP YOUR STUDY HABITS

Whether you are new to the city or have been walking its hilly streets since you were a toddler, you are probably familiar with Mark Twain's famous quote, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
True to the statement, as San Franciscans we pull out our warm sweaters in early June when the rest of the state is putting on their shorts and flip-flops.
Like clockwork, as the end of summer comes barreling into the last days of August, we all go back to school and the famous Indian summer of San Francisco begins. While we pull on our backpacks and remember how it feels to carry 20 pounds of books, we also get much-anticipated rays of sunshine, as well as lots and lots of homework.
So this Indian summer, forget the library or a dark cafe and check out these beautiful parks near several of City College's campuses, because you never know how long this warm spell is going to last.
