Ocean Campus Crime Alert

 

Two crimes have been reported to the San Francisco Community College Police in the first week of the Fall 2014 school semester.

Crime 1

Judson Ave & Phelan Ave, San Francisco, CA 94112 – Google Maps

On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at 11:50 a.m., a robbery occurred near Phelan and Judson Avenue.

The victim was walking northbound on Phelan Avenue, when the suspect approached from behind, walked past the victim and turned around to face the victim.

At this point, the suspect was holding a knife in his left hand and pointed it toward the victim.

The suspect then stated: “Give me your bag.” The victim complied.

The suspect took the bag and was last seen running northbound on Phelan Avenue.

Suspect Description:

Suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years old. He is 5’10” in height, about 165 pounds and brown eyes.

He was wearing a Raiders pull over, had a black hoodie pulled over his head, blue jeans and a black bandana covering the lower pan of his face with only his eyes visible.

The knife is described as having an approximately three inch blade.

Crime 2

Ocean Ave & Howth St, San Francisco, CA 94112 – Google Maps

On Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 9:30 p.m., a robbery occurred on Ocean Avenue, east from Howth Street.

The victim was walking westbound on Ocean Avenue, when the suspect approached from behind and told the victim: “Give me your stuff. The victim refused and walked into the middle of Ocean Avenue.

The suspect followed the victim and said: “We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” as he showed the victim the top of a knife handle he had in his front right pocket.

The suspect demanded and took the victim’s phone. The suspect was last seen running eastbound on Ocean Avenue.

Suspect Description:

Suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old. He is 5’9” in height, about 140
pounds, black hair, brown eyes, and light facial hair. He was wearing a dark beanie hat,
grey zip-up hoodie and baggie blue jeans.
