"We had lots of opportunities to score," said Lady Rams coach Tom Giusto, "we didn’t, they did (score)."

With a 27-24 lead at half time, the Lady Rams seemed to have the momentum to get a victory on their home floor. But with the timely shooting of guard Allison Peterson, who finished with 21 points, and the mere presence of 6-foot-2-inch center Prudence Garrison, College of the Sequoias wasn’t about to let the Lady Rams waltz into the second round.

College of the Sequoias started to pull away as the Lady Rams floundered on consecutive trips up the court. "It was our game and then we broke down," Mia Williams-Parker explained, "they caught up and we let them take it."

Williams-Parker, a freshman, led the way for the Lady Rams with 12 points and senior guard Ciara Jenkins added 11 in her final game as a Lady Ram.
