After a less than stellar 2025, Lucarelli’s 11 is looking to revitalize the program.

Rams soccer is back! Coming off a record of 4-8-9 last season, and a conference record of 3-5-5, they are looking to get back to their winning ways.

The Rams had a streak of over .500 play going back to the COVID-19 season in 2020, and the team would like to bring that precedent back.

Head Coach Adam Lucarelli stated that he’s not just looking for the record to get better but also “improve as a team, improve as a citizen and make sure they get their schoolwork done and reach their academic goals.”

Even after a down season last year, the expectations still remain sky high. “We’d like to win a conference championship and get to the final four and ultimately win a state championship,” said Lucarelli.

That's no small goal and the road to getting there will be a long one but  the belief and confidence is there.

One player who’s caught Lucarelli’s eye in the lead up to the season is Diego Martinez. “I think he's improved the most. He went through summer training all the way through summer and I've seen a lot of improvement with him.”

The team as a whole has been hard at work in training, goalkeeper Cody McGlasson included. “I’ve been coming here every single day five days a week,” said McGlasson, “to get better each day for this upcoming season.”

When asked about any new strategies, McGlasson mentioned, “Keepers specifically [learned] a lot of handling, a lot of distribution and a lot of communication vocally.”

The Rams XI took on Lake Tahoe Community College in their first game of the season on Aug. 27, 2026, closing out the 90th minute with a draw of 1-1.
