Rams begin season with three wins
In the first game of a doubleheader at City College on Jan. 17, the Rams women’s basketball team defeated San Jose City College with a final score of 52-39.

Rams win community college bowl game
City College won an exciting bowl game Nov.8, which served up as many defensive thrills as offensive ones, by a score of 59-31 over the Sierra College Wolverines.
More than a game
On the volleyball court Karen Yip is the most animated player on the City College team. The redshirt sophomore is always quick to encourage her teammates, making sure everyone is in the right positions. After she scores or makes a nice play Karen has the most lively celebrations on the court.
Smoking zones are not necessary
There has been a recent push at City College to force students who smoke to only be allowed to do so in designated areas. The school is in the process of making this a reality.

City College of San Francisco remains undefeated after a dominating 61-0 win over Fresno City College.
Both teams were undefeated heading into the game, so the lopsided victory came as not only a surprise but a vindication of the teams hard work and talented roster.
